7 random facts

Too long ago now (apologizes) my good friends Wen at La dilerante and Peter over at St Vincents Hospital Darlinghurst passed a 7 facts meme along to me.

So here goes, 7 random facts and faults:

  1. I love to read.
  2. I home learn with my children, (although it seems like we’re hardly ever home these days). They’ve never been to public school. I almost tried to enroll them a couple of years ago, but the principal didn’t impress me. We have a lot of fun together! This term that just ended we averaged 25 logged PE hours/month, along with various arts classes.
  3. One of my favorite getaways is Harrison Hot Springs.
  4. The last movie(s) I watched at home was the Back to the Future trilogy, in order.
  5. I like to integrate fitness into my life. Yesterday I walked 5 miles.
  6. I am loved by a ferocious orange guard-cat. OK, I’m a food source.
  7. I’m a ‘ballet mom’. We host friendly competitive fund raising campaigns, and run around with sewing kits, bobby pins and hair nets.

Now I’m supposed to pass this along to seven of my blogger friends, but I’m going to procrastinate for now or this will never get posted…

  1. It that true about cats, that they’re really waiting for us to die so they can eat us?

  2. I stopped by reading Priscilla’s list.

  3. Thanks for stopping by and welcome! I haven’t heard that about cats. “A cat is more intelligent than people believe, and can be taught any crime.” (Mark Twain)

  4. Thanks for a behind the scenes look at The Active Life. I too homeschooled my kids (my older is in college; I only learn with my 16 year old now). Mine have also never been to public school. I am amazed at how much knowledge I’ve accumulated since teaching them that I never learned during my 20 years in school!
From a fellow procrastinator, I finally made my journey over here to pick up the award that you bestowed upon me eons ago. Sorry for the delay!
