Cosmetic safety
Recently I found Environmental Working Group’s cosmetic database on the web. If you are like me, you’ve heard about some of the dangerous ingredients used in the cosmetic industry, but find it exhausting to keep on top of all the information. I try to use products that are as pure and natural as possible, but unfortunately, labels are misleading more often than we would like to think.
At the cosmetic database, simply type in the name of the product you are using (or interested in) to get a listing of ingredients and hazard score. This is not just for women–there are many unisex (toothpaste!) and specific men’s products listed, as well as the crucial Children’s Products Guide.

Many thanks

This is great information! Thank you! I always check the ingredients of the cosmetics I use, but you’re right; labels can be misleading.
