Pedometer software
Here’s a screen shot of the pedometer software I’ve been using. It’s super easy to use, and measures steps, aerobic steps, distance walked, aerobic time, calories and fat burned. You can view daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. The pedometer displays the last seven days, but holds 41. You do have to remember to download the data to your computer, which only takes a second. I haven’t really looked at the calories and fat burned, since that is only based on steps and not all the other work the body does.
I’m waiting for a pedometer that measures workouts and calories more accurately, maybe by heart rate. Two smiley faces is actually a pretty good day for me. Despite my sincerest efforts, aerobic time is quite difficult to accumulate, unless I deliberately distance walk. Unfortunately I haven’t had a lot of time for hikes lately. Maybe I should check out facebook for step challenge groups or apps…
