Indulgence

Wise indulging is a vital part of a well balanced lifestyle and diet. French women understand mindful eating: indulge, with the right quality and quantity, taking time to savor. As a yoga student I am learning to become mindful of what I eat, aware and appreciative of where it came from. By listening to my body, noticing how certain foods make me feel, I become aware of the choices that are best for me.

Today my indulgence is a heaping bowl of fresh raspberries with half & half and a little sugar…mmm… so delicious!!! I eat slowly and savor every bite.
