Fountain of youth
If you heard about a product that would give you a better complexion, better sleep, reduce headaches, suppress appetite, lose weight, reduce bloating, give you energy and help you look younger, would you take it? The miracle product is pure water. Simply upping your water intake can make a big difference in the way you look and feel, as I recently discovered. Here are a few of the ways I’ve been sneaking more water into my life lately:
- Drink a glass of water before the first coffee of the day. This only delays the coffee by a few minutes.
- Drink a glass of water before or with meals, sipping water between bites. Sometimes when you think you’re hungry your body is really dehydrated.
- When you are exercising, keep a water bottle handy.
- Try herbal tea.
- Use your best crystal stemware!
- Add a twist of lemon or lime to your glass for some variety.
- Drink a little at a time, even 1/2 cup counts.
- Substitute water for pop. As well as saving money and calories, this is hugely more beneficial to your health. Read the ingredients listed on the pop bottle if you don’t believe me.
Before you know it, you’ll be getting your 8-10 cups. You might be surprised what a big difference a small change can make! Cheers!
