Lazy Sunday afternoon
Today we had a rare day off, and decided to spend the afternoon at the pool. Although it was cool outside, and a bit drizzly, the water was warm, and we had it all to ourselves! Swimming challenges your heart and lungs, and uses almost every muscle group, so you end up getting a great upper and lower body workout. The water supports your body, reducing stress and injury. The children amused themselves with ’super-soakers’ and beach balls, and everyone got a great workout! Proof? We’re all feeling rather wiped out as we sit down to watch our Sunday night movie…
